Ordering and payment

Order at SchermExpress.

When ordering via our website you always have the option to have your order shipped or to pick it up yourself.

You can add your desired product (s) by placing them in the shopping cart. You can do this by clicking on the "add to cart" button.
After this, one window appears where you can choose whether you want to continue shopping or checkout. If there is an item in your shopping cart that you no longer want, you can easily remove it again by clicking on the trash bin.
When your order is correct you can press checkout. There you can optionally enter your discount code and proceed to the next step. You automatically go to the next step when you click on the "Proceed to Checkout" button. When you have arrived here you can enter your details. Here you can also indicate whether you want to have the product (s) shipped or would rather pick it up yourself.

Step 1: 

If you have never ordered from SchermExpress before, you can enter your details right at the checkout. This is only necessary if you do not yet have an account available on our website. Your account will be linked to your specified e-mail address. So use an existing address. If you do have an account you can click in the top left on "" Do you already have an account? Click here to login.''

Step 2:

During this step you indicate whether you want the order shipped or pick up at the store. Here you can also enter your possible payment method. We accept iDeal, Credit card and PayPal. Pick up and payment in our store is also possible.

Step 3:

Here you see an overview of your order and your personal information. In this last step you can specify a reference that will be linked to your order. Comments can also be made here. If you agree with our terms and conditions, click on the "Order with payment obligation" button and the order will be final.


You pay the product and shipping costs in advance.

  • Pay with iDEAL:

Bank account holders can pay very easily and reliably with iDEAL. When paying for the order you can indicate that you want to pay with iDEAL. Then check the iDEAL payment button at the bottom and select your bank. After this you automatically proceed to the next window where your payment order is ready. Your bank requests a number of details that are necessary for payment. The amount is then immediately debited from your bank account.

  • Pay with PayPal:

To pay with PayPal you need a PayPal account. You can request this for free from PayPal.
You can then link your bank account to your PayPal. This is not necessary. You can also opt for a separate account. Your bank account is not connected to PayPal, but you can simply pay by making transfers to your PayPal account.

  • Creditcard 

Choose PayPal if you want to pay with a credit card, this does not require a PayPal account. The following is supported: Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard and Maestro.

  • Payment in advance:

In the event of payment in advance, you will receive an email after ordering to the email address that you have linked with the order confirmation. This describes exactly how you can pay in advance. When your payment has been received your order will be processed and sent as soon as possible.

  • Rembours:

Pay on delivery. You pay your order to the carrier. (plus €19,95 handling fee)

  • At our counter in our store you can pay with:

• Cash
• Debit card
• Creditcard (Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard, Maestro) 


Shipping takes place with DHL or postNL. Shipments within the Netherlands are usually delivered the next working day.

Shipping costs within the Netherlands are € 8 unless you choose to pick up the order.

Shipping costs for shipments outside the Netherlands are calculated during the ordering process and can be viewed before you place the order. Cash on delivery shipments are not possible outside the Netherlands.
